Foreign nationals are granted authorization to study at designated learning institutions (DLIs) in Canada through the study permit. To study in Canada, the majority of foreign nationals require a study permit.
You can come to Canada to study if youare enrolled at a DLI; prove you have enough money to pay foryour tuition fees, living expenses for yourself and any family members who come with you to Canada andreturn transportation for yourself and any family members who come with you to Canada; obey the law, have no criminal record and get a police certificate (if required); are in good health and get a medical exam (if required) andprove to an officer that you will leave Canada when your study permit expires
While enrolled in school in Canada, you are required to fulfill the requirements stated in your study permit, move forward with the completion of your program, and cease studying if necessary.
